# Z-Anatomy heart reference — attribution and modifications

**These reference assets are separate from the original animated `heart.glb`.** Since 2026-09-12 the viewer uses `heart-atlas-cc04.glb`; `heart-atlas-repaired.glb` remains the CC-04 review evidence and `heart-atlas.glb` the immutable source for reproducible repairs. Neither is imported into the viewer bundle (the CC-04 review workspace still serves `heart-atlas-repaired.glb`).

v0.1.6 modification, 2026-09-08: removed exactly two coincident, opposite-winding right-atrial triangles forming a zero-thickness flap. Existing open boundaries, all vertex attributes and other structures were preserved. `scripts/repair-atlas.mjs` pins the original SHA256; `docs/atlas-repair.json` records removed triangle indices and output SHA256. Both original and repaired atlas assets, and geometry-derived reports, retain CC BY-SA 4.0 with the BodyParts3D attribution below. The viewer adds non-anatomical material color variation and studio lighting; these are visual presentation choices, not measured tissue properties.

v0.1.7 modification, 2026-09-08: the viewer can derive four runtime relative morph targets per mesh from a shared world-space displacement field. These derived anatomy targets retain CC BY-SA 4.0 and the same upstream attribution. The GLB files themselves are unchanged. Parameters and implementation are available under `content/atlas-motion.json` and `js/engine/atlas-motion.js` in the [lluvia_codex source branch](https://github.com/kuainegrito/my_website/tree/lluvia_codex/apps/cardiac_cycle); the release record is `docs/MOTION_V017.md`. This is an illustrative animation, not measured biological strain or a validated anatomical reconstruction.

v0.1.8 modification, 2026-09-08: five near-collinear LA faces and their adjacent faces were re-triangulated by internal diagonal flips. No vertices, normals, other attributes, node transforms, boundary segments or LA face counts changed. The original GLB remains immutable. The derived GLB and patch report retain the same share-alike attribution. Exact before/after indices, local geometric bounds and hashes are in `docs/atlas-repair.json`; reproduction uses `scripts/repair-atlas.mjs` and `scripts/condition-atlas-slivers.mjs` in the master source tree. Sampled triangle reversals are eliminated, without claiming collision-free or closed cavity geometry.

Required upstream attributions:

CC-03 classification, 2026-09-09: `docs/atlas-interfaces.json` and
`docs/atlas-interface-witnesses.svg` derive boundary coordinates, source edge/face
indices and static measurements from the unchanged repaired GLB. These derived
geometry reports retain CC BY-SA 4.0 and the BodyParts3D attribution below.
`scripts/audit-atlas-interfaces.mjs` reproduces both files; `docs/ATLAS_INTERFACES.md`
separates measured correspondence from provisional anatomical interpretations.
No vertices, indices, motion targets or source licensing were changed; no expert
endorsement or approval of an automatic repair is implied.

CC-03 follow-up, 2026-09-09: the same report now includes exact source-face
component ranges and boundary ownership, with qualitative role confidence and
candidate adjacent structures kept separate from measured topology. The SVG
adds the LV component assignment. All derived measurements/selectors retain
the same share-alike terms; the GLB and its source indices remain unchanged.

CC-04 expert draft-review workspace, 2026-09-10: the production build can now
serve the unchanged repaired GLB together with fingerprinted context,
provenance, upstream-tracing and source-face review evidence. The workspace and
downloaded draft/comparison records retain the same CC BY-SA 4.0 and
BodyParts3D attribution. Its overlays, labels, agreement metrics and saved
review state are engineering review aids, not anatomical approval or a new
licensed geometry. The production-build contract is recorded in
`docs/CC04_REVIEW_WORKSPACE.md` and
`docs/atlas-papillary-review-production.json`; no deployment is performed by
that work item.

CC-04 adjudication preparation, 2026-09-11: source-bound draft comparisons can
now be converted into cited, per-queue preparation records for external human
expert review. The packet, template, audit report and browser fields retain the
same CC BY-SA 4.0 and BodyParts3D attribution. Readiness describes record
completeness only; it does not verify reviewer identity or qualifications,
grant anatomical approval, allow candidate generation, or modify geometry.
The contract is documented in `docs/CC04_ADJUDICATION_PREP.md`; no deployment
is performed by this work item.

CC-04 repair, 2026-09-12: `heart-atlas-cc04.glb` is derived from
`heart-atlas-repaired.glb` by one change. The anterior RV papillary muscle was
replaced by its boolean difference with the inferior RV papillary muscle
inflated by 0.2 mm (Blender 5.1.2 exact solver), which removes their mutual
overlap. The other 16 meshes, all node transforms and the untouched anterior
vertices and normals are byte-identical. The derived GLB and its reports
(`docs/atlas-cc04-repair.json`, `docs/atlas-cc04-audit.json`) retain CC BY-SA 4.0
and the BodyParts3D attribution below. The cut follows a project-owner decision
that mature RV papillary muscles are separate structures; it is not a
per-face expert anatomical adjudication. Reproduction:
`scripts/repair-papillary-overlap.mjs` with `scripts/cc04-papillary-cut.py`;
see `docs/CC04_REPAIR.md`.

CC-07 AV leaflets, 2026-09-12: `heart-atlas-cc07.glb` adds two synthesized
meshes to `heart-atlas-cc04.glb` — "Anterior leaflet of left atrioventricular
valve (synthesized)", a rigid copy of the posterior mitral leaflet rotated about
the mitral annulus axis, and "Anterior leaflet of right atrioventricular valve
(synthesized)", a rigid copy of the septal tricuspid leaflet rotated about the
tricuspid annulus axis. They fill leaflet gaps the open atlas leaves; they are
derived atlas geometry, not anatomical data, and keep CC BY-SA 4.0 with the
attribution below. The 17 source meshes are byte-identical. Reproduction:
`scripts/add-av-leaflets.mjs`; evidence in `docs/atlas-av-leaflets.json`.

The derived **`heart-atlas.glb` is distributed under CC BY-SA 4.0**, retaining the underlying BodyParts3D attribution above. This asset is not MIT or CC BY 4.0. No endorsement by the original authors is implied. No warranties are given; see the linked licence for the complete terms.

Modifications by CardiacCycle 3D contributors, 2026-09-08: extracted 17 mesh objects; evaluated source modifiers; preserved world transforms while removing label parenting; converted Blender coordinates to glTF; omitted labels, scripts, cameras and animations. The viewer recentres the asset and substitutes simple tissue/valve materials and optional highlighting. No source Wikipedia definitions, unrelated contributed organs or atlas scripts are distributed in the GLB. The complete reproducible export script is `scripts/inspect-atlas.py` in the [application source repository](https://github.com/kuainegrito/my_website/tree/master/apps/cardiac_cycle).

Limitations: incomplete subset, open chamber boundaries, illustrative motion without validated cavity volumes, reviewed insertion sites or valve dynamics, and no expert validation. Source face conditioning and sampled orientation checks are not a self/intersection proof. This reference must not be represented as the fully reconstructed synchronized teaching model. Chinese structure labels are supplied for this viewer; some source terminology reflects this atlas's naming conventions.

CC-06 motion-preview correction, 2026-09-13: static GLB files are unchanged.
In motion view, `js/engine/av-valve-preview.js` substitutes five illustrative AV
leaflet surfaces derived from the CC-03 ventricular AV boundary loops (`lv:1`,
`rv:2`), with 24 separate chord cylinders anchored to vertices on the displayed
leaflets and named papillary muscles. This derived preview geometry retains
CC BY-SA 4.0 and the BodyParts3D/Z-Anatomy attribution above. Equal leaflet sectors
and nearest-to-annulus muscle-tip proxies are engineering approximations, not
reviewed anatomical insertions. The missing second LV papillary muscle is not
reconstructed. Ventricular cavity-volume constraints are implemented, but tissue
mechanics, anatomical validation, and continuous collision safety remain pending.

## Presentation changes after 2026-10-01 / 2026-10-01 之后的显示改动

These notes are appended to `licenses/ATLAS-ATTRIBUTION.md` when the app is built (`scripts/copy-static.mjs`). They are kept in a separate source file because `assets/reference/ATTRIBUTION.md` is fingerprinted by recorded audit reports.

Textbook colouring (CC-14), 2026-10-01: the lab and the anatomy page can colour the atlas structures in the manner of classic anatomy textbooks (`content/atlas-palette.json`, applied by `js/engine/atlas-palette.js`): chamber walls, papillary muscles, valve leaflets and cusps, the illustrative chordae and the synthesized trunk stubs each get a group colour, with a colour-safe variant and an option to restore the original colours. Colouring changes material tints at display time only. The GLB, its vertices, normals, indices and node transforms are unchanged. The colours are a teaching presentation choice, not measured tissue properties, and imply no endorsement by the original authors. The recoloured renderings remain CC BY-SA 4.0 with the BodyParts3D attribution in the file above.

Teaching-layer framework (CC-13), 2026-10-01: the runtime derives per-vertex coordinate fields (long-axis position, circumferential angle, endocardial/epicardial surface, septal surface) and surface anchors from the atlas geometry and the CC-05 septum classification, for overlays such as conduction, filling and flow views. Derived fields and any overlays drawn with them are derived works of the atlas under the same CC BY-SA 4.0 terms. No geometry is changed.
